The NatureZone Process

To purify an oral appliance, wash the appliance in warm water, place inside the NatureZone chamber, and close the lid. Make sure the lid is completely closed or the chamber circuitry will not function. Push the button on the front of the case to begin the purification process. A green LED bulb lights up to indicate that the cleansing cycle has started and shuts off when the three-minute cycle is complete. You can see it working through the transparent panel. When the light goes off, remove the appliance from the chamber and store in a clean environment until the next use.

To achieve the desired cleaning results, the appliance must remain in the chamber for the full cycle.

The NatureZone Technology

NatureZone mimics a naturally occurring process in the human body where white blood cells enter the bacterium cells and create an oxidative burst that punctures the cell wall and cripples harmful organisms. NatureZone emits UV rays and ozone ions inside a closed environment. When the ozone comes in contact with the cell walls of the organisms living on the appliance, it creates the same kind of oxidative burst as produced by white blood cells. This oxidative burst creates a tiny hole in the bacillus cell wall, and as more and more ozone ions impact the cell wall, thousands of holes are created. Within seconds, the cell wall can no longer hold its shape and the infectious cell dies. By saturating the oral appliance with its UV Ozone, NatureZone penetrates into the deepest micropores of the appliance, killing virtually all harmful bacteria.
